I graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Honours in Psychology and then completed my Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy from McMaster University. I have been a registered occupational therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) since 2000. I practiced for 7 years at SickKids Hospital in Toronto, working in their neurology, oncology, and sensory-motor programs.  In 2008, I moved to Almonte, and began practicing at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) in the areas of feeding and infant/child sensory-motor development. I have also worked in the school system and the community with infants, children and youth, consulting with teachers and support staff.  I have been solely working in private practice for the past 10 years. I live and work in the beautiful town of Almonte. Outside of the work I do, I greatly enjoy spending time with my husband and two young children. I volunteer in my community and am the current chair of the parent council at my children’s school.

I have completed many professional development courses in the areas of feeding, neurodevelopment treatment, sensory processing and self-regulation, vision and vestibular integration, therapeutic listening, integrated listening services, astronaut training, trauma, and autism.

I see children in their home, providing occupational therapy services to families living in Almonte, Carleton Place, Perth, Carp and Stittsville. I also provide parent and community consultation in the areas of sensory processing, development of regulation skills throughout childhood, and trauma-informed parenting.
